**Health Guarantee**

your puppy is covered by the standard mn (1) year health guarantee. this covers the first year of the puppies life. it is to soley cover any life threatening health issues that are determind to be genetic.

this guarantee only covers these issues if they're diagnosed with in the 1st year of the puppies life, it doesn't extend beyond the first year.

It doesn't cover non-genetic issues such as; injury, carelessness of the purchaser, lack of proper health care, etc. It also doesn't cover internal parasites such as giardia or coccidia. kennel cough, parvo or anything similar.

​Once the puppy leaves with you i require the puppy to be seen by a licensed veterinarian with in 3 weeks. We have the puppies health checked at 6-7 weeks. They're microchipped, vaccinated and dewormed at 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 weeks. When the puppy leaves with you we've done everything to keep your puppy healthy and free and clear of any of the above concerns.

The prices for our basset hound puppies are $1,450.00 each.
​ This is for either sex and includes MN Sales Tax.

All of our American puppies and European puppies come WITHOUT REGISTRATION papers. If you would like your puppy to be registered you will be paying the price for a breeding dog. See the pricing below.

​All puppies come with age appropriate vaccinations, vet check, microchipped, 30 days of Trupanion Pet Insurance, as well as pre-spoiled and very loved.

If you would like breeding rights with an American or European puppy their cost will be $4000.00 with CKC or AKC registration, depending on which stud we use.

**Basset Hound Common Health Issues not covered under our Health Guarantee**

Ear infections - We do our best to keep our bassets ears clean but with them being so long they can easily get infections. You should be cleaning your bassets ears once a week. It's easier to get them use to a weekly cleaning and prevent infections and your basset will thank you.

UTI's - Also known as urinary tract infections are common in basset hounds, especially puppies due to them being so low to the ground. It makes it easier for bacteria to enter easily. There's really not a lot you can do to prevent a UTI but if your puppy is urinating very often, not producing any urine and squatting a lot this is a sign and you should make an appointment at your vets office and or bring in a urine sample.

​Hip & Elbow Dysplasia - Due to bassets dwarf genetics they can be predisposed to these conditions as well as crooked legs.

Extropian or ectropian eyelids - This is a treatable health issues that bassets are also prone to due to their wrinkles.

Panosteitis - This is a temporary leg issues similar to growing pains in humans, Bassets can take up to 2 years to fully finish growing and some months they grow more than others. This can cause them to have growing pains due to their bone structure. It can happen in more then 1 leg at a time or cause a shifting lameness that goes from one bone or leg to another.


You will have lifetime breeder support and I will help to answer your questions and concerns just as soon as I'm able. Our Blissful Puppies and families mean so much to us and we're so glad that you get to bring a Blissful Puppy into your family.

I require a $250.00 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot for a puppy (check and deposit form are to be sent to me) the remaining balance $1,200 for (American) $1,200.00 (50% European) (CASH ONLY) is to be paid at the time you pick your puppy up at 8 weeks. You are required to pick your puppy up from our home or we will meet you at the Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) airport.

Your deposit is good for 2 years. If the puppy of your choice isn't born this round you'll be moved to the next litter.
